Brighton Fringe in May

I’m off down South in May to be part of the wonderful Brighton Fringe. I’m going to be performing a brand new, updated and revised version of Be Prepared at Upstairs at Three and Ten on the 20th, 21st & 22nd of May.

Be Prepared is a storytelling show that covers everything from Nina Simone to the Tsunami in the Indian Ocean, taking in such diverse subjects as how to rename your parents and why it is important for a young man to own his own eagle. Warm, witty and life-affirming, this practical guide to life and love will make you laugh, cry and gain a new insight into the arcane powers of Edgar Allan Poe. (Well that’s what it says in the press release anyway).

The show has been performed at the Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton Fringe festivals and will be appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe in Summer 2011. There’s also some lovely reviews from previous performances posted on this site.

There’s more info about the show and venue at http://www.brightonfestivalfringe.org.uk/
