Once Upon the Aire – A storytelling night at the Grove Pub in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The night takes place on the first Thursday of the month and alternates between open-mic nights and evenings with named performers. The Grove is a lovely venue, nestling in the shadow of the mighty Bridgewater Place (“the dalek”). Good beer and friendly company are pretty much guaranteed.
Tales from the Wharf – A very well established night, run by the Shaggy Dog Storytelling Club in Hebden Bridge. The event takes place at Stubbing Wharf Pub on King Street in Hebden Bridge on the final Friday of every month. It’s really great night and well worth a visit.
The Story Forge – A story night in Sheffield hosted by the wonderful Tim Ralphs and the marvelous David Hague . The Story Forge generally takes place at The Fat Cat Public House, on Alma Street, Kelham Island on the third Tuesday of every month.
