If you only have time to go to one or two more shows, this one really deserves consideration.
Matthew has insight beyond his years, and is already a master at using words and phrases to draw his listeners into how he views his somewhat quirky world. His understated delivery hits just the right note, enabling the audience to know exactly what he means.
I found this performance to be way more than I expected and a real joy to have seen. Go and see it, we need him to come back again next year with even better material!

Listening to Matthew Bellwood’s stories, you feel like you’re getting a glimpse into someone else’s life — an experience we usually deny even our closest friends.
He’s funny, genuine, makes you questions things, and sometimes a little odd… but each story is as interesting as the next.
Yes, each story is about Matthew, but there’s a bigger picture to each of them. Sometimes you can relate to them, sometimes you’re just along for the ride.
I truly enjoyed Bellwood’s show and have recommended it to many. Add this one to your Fringe schedule!

In Be Prepared, Matthew Bellwood tells stories from his life. The stories are short and deal with all the big things in life, love, sex, parents and death.
This show was a pleasant surprise. Matthew infuses his stories with lots of humour and intelligent metaphors, which I liked. I also liked how he tied in props to his stories, which helped the audience better visualize the story.
