Audience Reviews
This was the best show at Winnipeg’s 2007 Festival and sadly overlooked by audiences and under-qualified journalists. I was totally inspired by this production and my only regret is that I waited too long to see this show and missed the opportunity to create an audience for them. Matthew and Harriet have crafted a beautiful, poignant and often hilarious show that expertly guides the audience’s attention between theatre, performance art, video, karaoke, and improv. They take risks with narrative and the show easily distinguishes itself from the more traditional, and formulaic fringe fare. The duo also displayed the best acting and easily the most likeable stage personas at this year’s festival. ***** A++++

This is simply a Fringe treat! Matthew’s cynicism matched with Harriet’s die-hard love for, uh, love makes this a sweet success. Their analysis of love songs is bang on — and after seeing this show, I’m not sure if you’ll ever be able to listen to those songs without busting a gut. The interaction with the audience only helped to make it an even more enjoyable show. Warning though – if you sit in the front row, you might become part of the act! There’s no reason this show should have a seat unfilled. If you’re looking for a play to add to your show schedule, add this one. CBC is bang on by giving this one four bars!
